Prebirth Treatments and Moxa for Breech Babies |

PreBirth treatment involves a series of four treatments weekly from 36 or 37 weeks to prepare for labor. Points are used according a woman's constitution, physical issues and pregnancy history. These include points to ripen the cervix, to help position the baby in the best presentationfor labour and to promote optimal energy and stamina for women to enter into labour. I always do visualization from the works of Gayle Patterson along with the treatment to work to create cellular memories. You can access these memories in labor and use them to help you cope with pain, remember to breathe, keep your eyes on the prize - opening to receive your precious one.
Breech babies are ideally treated between 34 - 36 weeks gestation . This is often a one off treatment with women being shown how to continue treatment at home with a moxa stick ( a herb that has been shaped into a cigar like stick). The moxa stick is lit and held over specific places in the body to stimulate the acupuncture points. It is the moxa that turns the baby, but an acupuncture treatment will help decrease stress around the baby being breech as well. Ihave found Chinese Herbal medicine to increase the efficacy of babies turning. When patients have used the herbal medicine and moxa, most of them have turned. In the event of a version, the doctor will inevitably say "wow, that's the easiest version I've ever done...". In one case, a baby did not turn even with a version, in that case there was a physical reason why that baby couldn't turn around. |
